cards, but I felt this was an exception to my rule. The DJ you provided for our annual picnic was truly outstanding. He did everything we wanted him to do. If it was too loud, he would turn it down for us. If it was to "hard" he would lighten it up. And he didn't ask for payment -- he knew that we had already made special arrangements with your office.

Dear Bob, We wanted to take a minute to say thanks for helping us plan for the Christmas party so quickly. The DJ we had booked "bumped us" for a higher-paying job. Last time we'll be using him! Everybody had a blast with your music and interaction. We can't wait until next year.

PARTY GAMES LIST |
| |
| GENERAL PARTY GAMES |
| HULA HOOP |
| The traditional game of the ages. Whoever goes longest wins. We do this in various age categories and it can also be split up by gender. |
| |
| WANGO TANGO |
| This is a fun off-shoot of the hula hoop done in pairs. A plastic stick with two semi-circular tubes attached at each end is put between two people. There is a ball dangling from a string. The two participants have to get the ball to swing all the way around the stick until it is completely wrapped around like a tether ball. But, no hands are allowed! |
| |
| SHOES GAME |
| Two teams of the same number are picked. They all remove their shoes and put them in two big piles at one end of the room or party area. We mix up the shoes. Then, relay-race style, one at a time, one person from each team must run down to “their pile” and find their shoes, put them on then run back and “tag” the next person and so on. The first team to get all their shoes on wins. |
| |
| PASS THE MUSICAL PICKLE |
| A musical green pickle is passed around a circle like a hot potato. When the pickle “explodes,” the person holding it is out (as in musical chairs). Keep going until you have a winner. For a shorter version, we can have the person who “explodes” first to win a prize. |
| |
| LIMBO CONTEST |
| The traditional party game using a stick. Participants go under with fun, tropical music playing as the holders keep going a little lower each round. We do this in age groups to be fair to the “tall people.” |
| |
| BATTLE OF THE SEXES |
| Males vs. Females to see who knows questions typically related more to the opposite sex. We have this in teenage and adult versions (both are completely clean). This can be done in teams or by individual competition. |
| |
| COUPLES GAME |
| We choose several couples to answer questions about each other to see who knows there “significant other” best. All questions are fun and in good taste. We ask 4 questions to the males and then 4 questions to the females. The highest score wins. |
| |
| LAP GAME |
| Contestants are seated in chairs in a circle and take a “mock oath” that they will answer all questions honestly. We then read various statements. If someone can answer the statement with “yes,” they move to the next chair. But, if the person in that chair didn’t answer “yes,” the “lap game” begins. The winner is the person who gets back to their original chair first. |
| |
| MUSIC IN MOVIES GAME |
| Contestants come up, two at a time (tournament-style), and listen to a snippet of a song that was in a movie. They must name what movie the song was in. The person that makes it all the way to the end is the winner. |
| |
| CHIPMUNKS NAME THAT TUNE |
| Participants get to guess song titles from various music styles…recent top 40, 80s hits, classic rock, etc. With one very unique twist…the songs are played at double their normal speed! |
| |
| TV SHOW NAME THAT TUNE |
| Contestants hear tv show theme songs. They must identify what tv show theme is playing. |
| |
| DECADE TRIVIA |
| Participants answer trivia questions from the decade(s) of their choice. |
| |
| THUMBS UP/THUMBS DOWN GAME |
| Everyone stands up. A “helper” is chosen to predict the correct answer to various surveys that have been done. Contestants must give a “thumbs up” if they think the actual answer is higher than what the helper guessed or “thumbs down” if they think the answer is lower than the helper guessed. Eventually, we end up with one winner. |
| |
| “AIR MUSICIAN” AMERICAN IDOL |
| Three contestants are given a blow-up guitar, a blow-up saxophone and drumsticks. Then we play a 60-second piece of a famous song and they have to do “air musician” to that piece of the song. The best performer (based on style and rhythm) wins. |

| |
| BUTTHEAD TOSS GAME |

| |

| FRUIT RELAY RACE |
| Teams are divided up. Contestants from each team must race to one end of the room and back, then tag the next team who then do the same and so forth. But, the trick is, they have to race with a piece of fruit between their foreheads without dropping the piece of fruit. To make it even more fun, each team draws their fruit out of a bag…you could get a banana, an orange… |
| |
| POOL PARTY ONLY GAMES |
| PIGGY–BACK RACE IN THE WATER |
| Couples or parent/child teams do a race in the water from one end to the other, the first team back wins. If doing the parent/child version, make sure mother/child teams get a ¼ length head start over father/child teams to be fair. |
| |
| BIGGEST SPLASH CONTEST |
| Contestants see who can make the biggest splash when jumping into the pool. They may do any kind of dive they want. We use judges to help pick the winner or applause. |

| BEST DIVE/CRAZY DIVE CONTEST |
| THIS MAY BE DONE WITH EITHER CHOICE, AGAIN USING JUDGES OR APPLAUSE TO PICK WINNERS. |

| |
| CHICKEN DANCE/HOKEY POKEY IN THE POOL |

| We announce that we are going to do “the world’s largest (fill in the type of dance) dance in the pool” and we get all the kids (and adults who are feeling youthful) to participate. |
| |
| BEACH BOY KAZOO GAME |
| We play a few seconds of several beach boys songs and then 4 or 5 participants have to pick one of the songs to play on a kazoo. We do this “american idol-style” with three judges. |
